  This place is the cutest. The ambiance is very Latin & Instagram worthy. The food was delicious & is actually flavorful. The green salsa they bring you is bomb. We ordered pupusas and a torta - amazing. I was 10/10 satisfied with everything.
  
  I loved all the decor. I would drive by ALL the time and the Frida in the window always caught my attention. I finally stopped in today and I can't wait to go back!
  
  Hope y'all give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

  I love the food here. Great variety of dishes and the papusas are excellent. I also highly recommend the fish tacos, but honestly anything else on the menu is delicious and fresh. My girlfriend loves the tres leches cake.
  
  ***HUGE CAUTION***: If paying with card/debit - CHECK YOUR BANK/STATEMENT - I've noted on several (4-5) occasions when ordering to-go that I do not tip. A few days later when checking my bank statements online that Casa Latina ADDS TO THE AMOUNT (even when I've crossed out the tip field on the signed receipt). I've disputed the charges through my bank with success but Casa Latina should know that either the front register person is adding a custom tip or as an organization are engaging in unauthorized charge activity.

  Casa Latina seems to have gotten a nice renovation and is nicely decorated but the food could really use a reinvented Latin twist of its own. Ok to the average gringo palate Casals Latina is a day trip to Latin America but to a well traveled O.M.D foodie the food here stops at Bland. The sabor is definitely missing and the customer service is not always friendly. So weather you agree or disagree or just settle for its mediocracy because it's local to you, good keep "buying it" in this case $14 tasteless burritos and such...
  
  On a much more positive note the Panaderia (bread) hasn't changed and is probably the only reason to give this place one star.

  This review is solely on pan dulce, which is baked fresh when we arrived at the place. The biggest draw is that each pan dulce is incredibly well priced at around $1.30 each, as I was surprised when I thought that 3 pieces would be like $10. I got various sweet bread to try it out, and I think the one with the cream was my favorite. Although it is quite messy to eat, the creaminess and buttery sides make this particular piece really delicious. The rounded pan dulce is decent, as I wished there were more flavor to it. Regardless, it is just slightly sweet so it won't weigh you down as much, so that is a plus. My friend got the rainbow cookie and he said it was pretty good, and it was not too sweet either. I would definitely come back to get more pan dulce, maybe with some coffee as it was a bit dry to just only eat the pan dulce without drinking anything.

  In the area searching for a lunch place and found this spot.
  
  We arrived, grabbed a menu, found a table, and decided on what to order. I decided on the pupusa plate that comes with two pupusas, beans, and plantains. I made my way to order and saw a sign that advertised "Taco Tuesday" and happy hour specials. I decided to also order an Al Pastor Taco and a Carne Asada Taco.
  
  While ordering I noticed they had a wall full of baked goods. They had conchas, mantecadas, polvorones, marranitos, and much more. I was so thrilled!
  
  I got my food and the presentation was clean. The tacos looked simple. The Al Pastor was BOMB. It had chunks of pineapple delivering a sweet but savory taste. Add the salsa and BAM! The carne asada wasn't delicious. It didn't have any flavor. Even with salsa. I didn't enjoy it at all.
  
  My pupusa was not oily and the dough not overcooked. The filling was savory and the curtido was alright. The red salsa definitely gave it a kick. My re fried beans topped with plaintains and cheese were BOMB. The beans tasted delicious. They didn't taste old or dry at all.
  
  My meal was about $22. Which was hefty for a quick lunch of two pupusas and two tacos.
  
  After I finished my meal I grabbed different pieces of bread to take home. I opened up the case and could smell the delightful air of all the baked goods. YUM. They were all delicious. The conchas were so yummy!
  
  The restaurant is really cool. Frida Khalo photos everywhere. Spacious eating area.
  
  I really enjoyed my meal and look forward to trying out the rest of the menu when in the area.
